In this first workshop, students from the Master in Learning and Communication in Multilingual and Multicultural Contexts and the Bachelor in Medicine discuss experiences of being a patient abroad or working with patients unfamiliar with the Luxembourgish healthcare system.
We will explore differences in doctors’ and patients’ expectations, cultural variations in health-related beliefs as well as the impact of language and cultural barriers.
