Professor Antonella Sorace has been announced as a 2023 recipient of the Ondras Award for the promotion of European minority languages.

Now in its second year, the Ondras Award is presented annually to public intellectuals who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to the protection and enhancement of heritage or minority languages.

Professor Sorace has received recognition for her research investigating bilingual development and for her tireless work to publicly educate on the benefits of bilingualism in any languages.

Supported by Crei Acli and Fondazione di Sardegna, the upcoming ceremony event is scheduled for Saturday 30 September in Cagliari, Sardinia.
